The Wiki band game
Not exactly a game which will save the world, but quite funny anyway. What you do is go to English Wikipedia, and press "random article". The first article you get is your band name. Press again, second article is your album. 10 next is the tracks of the album, geddit? Here's mine:
Band name: European Parliament election
Album name: Topological group
01 Charles I. Stengle
02 Whitchurch Rural District
03 Camberwell Girls Grammar School (WTF?)
04 Tonasket, Washington
05 X-Men 2: Game Master's Legacy
06 Longshaw
07 Kusín
08 Retinol O-fatty-acyltransferase
09 Ken Anderson
10 Hōryūji Station

Band: Lists of Jews
Album: Concentrated Photo Voltaics
1. Worshipful Company of Spectacle Makers

Not fun, really, I kept on getting boring/short articles.
The xkcd Wikipedia game(where you click on random article, then click on one link in the article, then, from that article you click another link, and so on, untill you go trough 10 steps) is more fun. I got from Pope Paul to Oral Sex once |

Craplet
1995-2000
Their seminal album was:
Imperial College of Engineering aka ICE
It contained only eight tracks (Does it qualify?) including the hit single "Jujeh Kabab", released in 1995 which launched the band to stardom.
The track "Kinescope" is 18 minutes long and owes alot to the influence of alternative punk/techno rock.
Here are the tracks:
1.PG-7VR
2.Jujeh Kebab
3.Yellow Thing
4.Brezice
5.Kinescope
6.Kozah
7.Dwarf Tinamou
8.PG-7VR (reprise)
"Brezice"is said to derive from Bernice, girlfriend of lead singer, Pop Bradlley, who was so drunk when they recorded the track he couldn t pronounce the name. |
