Haha, Ken's Labyrinth. The sound effects in Ken's original, non-Epic version are priceless ... whenever you try to "push" a wall it says "Save it for later" (I assume in Ken's own squeaky voice). Even the official Epic Megagames version keeps Ken's own intro "Welcome to Ken's Labyrinth"! Happy

I actually really enjoyed Ken's Lab as a little kid. It might not be the best looking of games, but the graphics were very creative, as was the level design and "dungeon" features. (Level design for the first part anyway, it started slipping in the 2nd, and the 3rd was pretty bad)

Hmmm I just ran the full final version in DOSBox and it (DOSBox) crashed ... the old, original Advanced Systems version seems to work though...

You do realize he's released a windows version of the game, right? http://www.advsys.net/ken/klab.htm

(check out the toolkit too... pretty sweet if you feel like making your own Labyrinth)

Yea, I was just thinking that maybe I should change the version that's available on DG if the one that's up there currently doesn't work in DOSBox ... I saw the editing kit but never tried it, I'll take a look later today Shit-Eating Grin

Well, they call it "windows" for a reason.

AFAIK, it works fine as a window. Dunno why you'd want to do that, though, when you can just alt-enter and get the same accessability in half a second.

Evil Genius had a rather catchy 80's spy movie-esque soundtrack, was a fantastic game to boot. From memory you can still download the soundtrack from the website, or at least you could back when I was more active on the forums over there...

Oh my Wally, I still can hear the repetitive music from 'Alex Kidd in Miracle World', heard that months and months in a row when my oldest began to play on the Sega, then again when my daughter played it, and again when my youngest played it also.

AAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrhhhhhglglghfjdkjfhgglglglgjjjhjhjh.
And don't you dare mention the music in bomber raid ....ZOMFG....

Alex Kidd in miracle world... now thats one game that shits me... Especially if continue mode doesnt work.. Always liked the jungle level where you fight that big bear at the end and get the motorbike.

Then again lately i have been hearing the music from Daffy Duck in Hollywood, its been pissing me off... I can't find any midis but try the dark levels.. then you'll know what im talking about, it comes up at night time and really scares the shit out of me lol..

Im a HUGE fan of the Asterix game music!
