Post subject: Dungeon Keeper screen resolution |
|
|
question is: How can I get Dungeon Keeper Gold to have a resloution of 1024x768. I dont like 640x480 its way too small.
Any help is appreciated. |

You don't: 640X480 is the max resolution, but you can run that full screen in dosbox if you hit ALT+ENTER.
You can run also run DK GOLD in windows, there it should always be full screen.
To install it in windows:
go to your \keeper\winsetup folder on your CD and click on setup.exe, do NOT install DX when asked.
But it's the same game, in windows or dos.
If you have a TFT (flat) screen or a brandnew VIDcard, those can have problems in 640X480 fullscreen in windows, then you only can run it in dosbox full screen.( or lower the refresh rate to some 60Hz, can help sometimes).
*Edit
Hitting ALT+R gives slightly better textures.
Or if you really want 1024X768 you buy DKII. |

| I forget which key it is, but you can zoom out while playing dungeon keeper. It's Pageup Pagedown or Home/End. Least the game will make building easyer, but it'll still appear blocky |
