Eeuuuurhhh ... if he's dead, we won't see him live, probably.
Meh

No duh!
That's why I said TOO BAD HE'S DEAD. Otherwise I'd probably try to see them live. Because they would be doing shows. Because he wouldn't be dead.
but he is, so therefore, TOO BAD.

But isn't it wrong to say "Another band great to see live is Blind Melon"?

I mean, if that guy is dead, the band's no longer great to see live! Because he's dead! Right?

I’ve been to more gigs then I can poke a stick at, rather then spiel on about them all here... Clicky clicky... <- A review of the August gigs I went to. Happy

It’s 4 gigs not 5, but in one month I thought that was a pretty good effort, would have gone to another but I was at a friends 20th the last weekend of the month.

To make up for the lack of the 5th well I’m going to another gig tomorrow night in the city, a friends band is playing so it should be good, I’ll probably know 1/2 the people there and since I don’t have anywhere I need to be Sunday morning I can stay out all night.

Woo! Happy

I haven't been to a show in ages. I've seen over 100 international acts though. Next show will probably be the Soundwave Festival. It has a bunch of crap bands and few really good ones. Or i might go to Reel Big Fish + Less Than Jake + Streetlight Manifesto or Bouncing Souls. Depending on moneys.

Oh....

I totally forgot to mention this...

Yeah.
Saw Matt Good a couple weeks ago.

FANTASTIC.
The guy is hilarious!

Frick.
And he did 4 encore songs for us.

So good.
SO GOOD.

I bought a t-shirt, "track Jacket" and a signed copy of his new CD "Hospital Music"

It was awesome!

You're not alone with missing ZPZ, I finally have enough money scraped together to get a ticket and it's sold out. Sad

Oh well, I did manage to get tickets to Amon Amarth, Nightwish & both Iron Maiden shows coming up early next year. Shit-Eating Grin

the last one I went to was Cog at Newcastle University, they played with Something With Numbers, Butterfingers, Muscles, Royal Crown Revue and Faker.
I have also been to Karnivool + Dead Letter Circus + Waterview (Sept 2007)
The Butterfly Effect + Chevelle + Dead Letter Circus (July 2007)
Weird Al Yankovic (May 2007)
Mastodon + Slayer (April 2007)
Spiderbait - NYE 2005 (didn't have tickets so stood on the road where I could see the stage)
This year NYE hope to do the same for Grinspoon + The Butterfly Effect.
Entombed (1999) Testeagles (1999) Primary (1999)
MxPx (1998) Nancy Vandal (1998) Frenzal Rhomb (1998 + 1999)
Segression + Fear Factory (1999)
A whole heap of Newcastle bands...not about to list them all!
