Of all of the Bomberman clones I've seen so far, this one is closest to Bomberman in terms of graphics, powerups, gameplay ... everything! It plays very well, looks great, and if you're lucky enough to be on a network, you can play with up to eight players at once! Two-player mode is available for stand-alone PCs. (Note that only Gravis Ultrasound (GUS) is supported for sound effects, so you'll need to do the work to set up GUS in DOSBox on your PC if you want sound.) Recently a RetroArch/LibRetro port of Mr Boom was released by its original author.
